WHY IS NPSÕS
ORGANIPAVEª CONSIDERED A MODERN SYSTEM?

one (1) kilometer of road takes between 30-34 days to complete. Baring force
majeure, NPSÕs OrganiPaveª
System of road
construction can complete the same distance in less than one (1) week (usually
between 1-5 days). Use of liquid water-based stabilizing products began less
than 50 years ago.
HOW IS NPS A
MANUFACTURER?
NPS operates as
a licensed manufacturer producing and supplying our liquid soil control agents
from the original product
Inventors and
patent holders. We farm out the blending process, allowing us to maintain tight
control of the products we are supplying.
HOW STRONG IS
IT?
Recent ITS test
with a mix of 50% RAP and 50% Crush.
Tested with no
additive produced an ITS of 155.5 kpa.
Tested with
SealCrete-S1ª at a dilution of 4:1 (4 parts water) achieves a tensile strength
of 1639.4 kpa
International
indirect road tensile strength requirements are 4% or 400 kpa.
HOW DO YOU KNOW
WHICH PRODUCT TO USE?
NPS conducts a
variety of soil/product lab tests for CBR, UCS and ITÕS to determine the best
formulation to use. This is the very reason
Why there cannot
be a Ôone size fits allÕ product. Testing allows our lab team to design,
develop and manufacture a formulated product that is soil and territory
specific, particle specific.
CAN YOU PAVE
OVER ASPHALT?
NPS formulated
products are water based and not a ÔpavingÕ product until aggregate is added.
However, dried asphalt showing signs of wear,
Can benefit from
an applied topcoat of NPSÕs SealCrete-S1ª. The product soaks into the aged
asphalt binding, returning strength and making it impermeable.
DO I STILL NEED
ASPHALT?
You can still
use asphalt on the surface if itÕs a requirement of the project. There is no added
value other than the comfort aesthetic of the asphalt look.
However NPS
provides clients with the option of various colors as a surface finish, along
with our NPS Glass-Bead-1.5ª that creates clearer nighttime drivability
viewing.
WHERE CAN I USE
IT?
NPSÕs products
can be used on any soils. We recommend the best soil specific formula for the
project. There are products designed for beach sand, to
Expansive clays,
to chip seal surfaces, complete slag roads etc. Creating a strong and
impermeable ware course is as easy as grade, compact, and apply product.
CAN YOUR
PRODUCTS BE USED TO FIX POTHOLES?
NPS formulated
products are designed to provide a solution to just about every problem there
is in road construction. Using the NPS formula can allow for up to 50 pothole
repairs in 1 day.
